DR. MARK D. FARLEY

Orthodontist

About Our Miamisburg Office

Dr. Mark D. Farley, D.M.D, is our orthodontist and we would like to share some information about him and his qualifications as well as some personal interests.  Dr. Farley earned a degree in Dentistry at the University of Louisville in 1983.  He attended Children's Hospital to specialize in Pediatric Dentistry from 1983 to 1985.  This residency was instrumental in preparing Dr. Farley for the best possible management and care of children.  While at Children's Hospital in Cincinnati, he decided to specialize in Orthodontics and received his degree in Orthodontics at the University of Louisville.  For seventeen years now he has served on the Cranio-Facial Team at Dayton Children's Hospital to satisfy his desire to work with children with special needs.

Dr. Farley is married and has four daughters.  His hobbies include jogging, tennis, golf, and coaching his daughters' soccer teams.  He takes an active interest in all of his daughters' academic and extracurricular activities. He participates in local and national dental organizations.

Dr. Farley takes a lot of pride in his work and treats each child as if they are his own.  The most satisfying part of his practice is watching his patients mature during their orthodontic treatment and seeing their beautiful smiles when they have their braces removed.

The first person you will meet either on the phone or by visiting us will be our receptionist, Vicki.  She will assist you with your scheduling needs as well as working out flexible payment plans that best fit your budget, and also help you with any insurance questions or information you have about your plan.

Our practice includes five highly skilled orthodontic technicians that we depend on to make our office run as efficiently as possible.  They are   Katherine, Julie,  Michelle,  Christina and Amber .  One of our orthodontic technicians will see you or your child at your visit to our office.  They work closely with the orthodontist at each appointment to guide the patient through their treatment.

Our staff also consists of an office manager and clinical coordinator, Gwen.  Her job at the practice is to coordinate daily operations.  She works closely with the receptionists, clinical staff and the doctor. She is also our lab technician, fabricating many of the appliances our patients may need for treatment or retention.
